Zarparon del puerto de esta ciudad el 3 de agosto de 1492, llegando el 12 de octubre de dicho a\u00f1o a una isla del actual continente americano, que por entonces era desconocido por los europeos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n es conocido por \u00ab<strong>El Fres\u00f3n de Palos<\/strong>\u00bb siendo ese municipio uno de los mayores productores de fresas de Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La palabra PALOS tambi\u00e9n puede hacer referencia a:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Palos del <strong>flamenco<\/strong>: los distintos \u00abestilos\u00bb que existen dentro del flamenco como la sole\u00e1, seguiriya, buler\u00edas, alegr\u00edas, fandangos, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"PALOS DE LA FRONTERA - HUELVA\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VAuvaFa5BaI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Foto: Jose A.
