{"id":695,"date":"2022-04-04T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-04T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordleand.angelvilches.com\/andalucia\/?p=695"},"modified":"2022-12-13T01:11:23","modified_gmt":"2022-12-13T00:11:23","slug":"la-linea-de-la-concepcion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordleand.angelvilches.com\/andalucia\/la-linea-de-la-concepcion\/","title":{"rendered":"La L\u00ednea de la Concepci\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La L\u00ednea de la Concepci\u00f3n en un <strong>municipio de la provincia de C\u00e1diz <\/strong>ubicado en el<strong> Campo de Gibraltar<\/strong>, que hace frontera con el territorio brit\u00e1nico que da nombre a la comarca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La L\u00ednea de la Concepci\u00f3n se levanta en el istmo que une la Pen\u00ednsula con el Pe\u00f1\u00f3n de Gibraltar. Su t\u00e9rmino municipal es muy peque\u00f1o. La mayor parte es baja y llana, con la bah\u00eda de Algeciras a un lado y las playas de Levante al otro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sus or\u00edgenes, fisonom\u00eda y personalidad han sido moldeados por la p\u00e9rdida de Gibraltar ante los ingleses en 1704, atravesando la ciudad \u00e9pocas m\u00e1s o menos pr\u00f3speras seg\u00fan las relaciones contempor\u00e1neas. Su vida cotidiana sigue muy ligada al <strong>Pe\u00f1\u00f3n<\/strong>, ya que es el \u00fanico punto de acceso entre Gibraltar y la Pen\u00ednsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inicialmente fue un<strong> arrabal de San Roque<\/strong> cuyo origen fue<strong> \u201cla l\u00ednea fortificada en torno a Gibraltar\u201d<\/strong>. Esta l\u00ednea se situaba entre los fuertes de Santa B\u00e1rbara y San Felipe, construidos en 1727 y 1731 respectivamente, con el objetivo de recuperar el Pe\u00f1\u00f3n tras su p\u00e9rdida en 1704 La l\u00ednea fortificada fue destruida en 1810 durante la Guerra de la Independencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La villa perteneci\u00f3 a San Roque con el nombre de La L\u00ednea de Gibraltar hasta 1870.
