Se le considera el <strong>precursor del Siglo de Oro del teatro en Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De oficio batidor de oro, lo abandon\u00f3, no se sabe en qu\u00e9 fecha, para dedicarse al teatro y<strong> fundar una compa\u00f1\u00eda propia<\/strong> que actu\u00f3 en diversas ciudades espa\u00f1olas con gran \u00e9xito. Como <strong>autor <\/strong>teatral produjo comedias, coloquios pastoriles, alg\u00fan auto sacramental y pasos.
